Samsung U700 - Mobile Europe 2007-2008
EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) - Association of European specialized audio-visual media - called a thin HSDPA-phone U700 «mobile phone in Europe 2007-2008,» (European Mobile Phone 2007-2008). The award recognizes excellence of design and apparatus embodied in the technological innovation.
By allocating even a line of mobile phones Samsung Ultra Edition II, combining excellent design and advanced multimedia capabilities, U700 supports the most advanced technology, including videophone, with the possibility of exchanging data at speeds up to 3.6 Mbps, thanks to support HSDPA ( High Speed Downlink Packet Access). Also the phone is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera and large 2.2-inch LCD screen on the thin-film transistors.
In accepting the award, vice-president of Samsung telecom unit Dr. David Steele stressed: «Get award EISA, set the tone for European industry picture and sound, to me the joy and honor. This is an important recognition of the progress we have made, and proof that our mobile phones have become very popular among European consumers. Samsung did not stop in the production of U700 - we will continue to strive to provide users with the most comfortable vehicles with the most attractive design ».
The jury for EISA Convergence named Samsung U700 «mobile phone in Europe 2007-2008 Year» for the ability of high-speed data, 10 times beyond the normal UMTS, and various multimedia features such as audio compression technology and a built 3.2-megapixel camera. The experts also highlighted the function realized in the U700 «The whole world in your pocket».
